I haven’t had much luck with peaches this year, but it’s okay because I feel like this turned out just as great (maybe even better) with the nectarines. I don’t think I shopped enough at the local farmer’s markets in search of the perfect peaches. Anyways, this oatmeal is super satisfying for some pre-workout fuel. I love cinnamon on my oatmeal, it always makes it 100x better, so I sprinkled some on after it came off the stove. After the picture, I drizzled a bit of local honey on top. YUM. I was starting to feel a bit sick for a day or two after having too many late nights with friends and losing sleep, so I’ve been starting my days off with an apple cider vinegar shot and a scoop of honey and made sure my sleep game was doing good, and now I’m feeling MUCH better. I’m trying to cleanse my gut this month, so I’ll hopefully limit my intake of drinks with friends and be the beloved DD, as well as exercise daily, drink more water, stay on top of probiotics, and cut processed sugar! Someone do this with me….please.
